37th AAAS Biennial Conference - Adelaide, South Australia

14th Jul - 16th Jul 2026

On behalf of the Australian Association of Animal Science (AAAS) I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to support and celebrate this biannual conference coming to Adelaide from the 13th to the 17th July 2026.

Join us as a partner and network with over 300 national and international delegates in a face-to-face meeting representing all sectors of the Asian and Australasian animal industry including research scientists, nutritionists, geneticists, veterinarians, livestock producers, feed manufacturers and supply chain partners.

The Conference provides delegates with key insights into new technical developments and the latest innovations relating to animal sciences. The theme of the congress is “Transforming Animal Management Through Sustainable Innovations”, which involves the integration of environmentally friendly practices and advanced technologies to enhance the welfare of animals while minimising ecological impact. This theme emphasises the use of innovative solutions such as precision farming, smart tracking systems, and sustainable feed alternatives to optimise health, productivity, and living conditions of animals across species. By adopting these practices, professionals can address challenges such as resource depletion, climate change, and ethical concerns, ultimately leading to a more profitable, sustainable and humane approach to animal husbandry that benefits both the environment and our society.

The AAAS Conference is open to anyone interested in animal science and technology. The program will include representatives from all animal science disciplines.
